Access data / server log files
FLO-CERT GmbH (or rather their web-space provider) collects data every time the website is accessed (so-called server log files). This access data includes:
The name of the website called up, the file, date and time of the call-up, quantity of data transferred, message about successful call-up, browser type and version, the operating system of the user, referring URL (the site visited previously), IP address and requesting provider.
FLO-CERT GmbH uses the log data only for statistical assessments for operational purposes, for security and for optimising the website. FLO-CERT GmbH reserves the right to retrospectively check the log data if there is justifiable suspicion due to concrete indications of illegal use.
Handling personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, and so is data that could be traced back to a person. Personal data will only be collected, used and passed on by us if this is permitted by law or if the user has consented to this data acquisition.
In the event of contacting us (for example, using the contact form or email), the information of the user will be saved for the purposes of processing the enquiry as well as in event of there being follow-up questions.
We use the newsletter to pass on information about offers and information about ourselves. If you would like to receive the newsletter you have to provide both a valid e-mail address and information that allows you to be identified as the owner of the e-mail address or that verifies that the owner of the e-mail address agreed to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected. This data will be used only for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.
You can withdraw your consent to have this data saved as well as its use for sending the newsletter at any time. The withdrawal can be implemented via a link in the newsletter itself of via correspondence directed to the contact address provided above.
Integration of services and third party content
It is possible that content from third parties, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps or RSS feeds for example, is incorporated into this website. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereafter referred to as the “third party provider”) know the IP address of the user. As without the IP address they cannot send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address if therefore necessary for the presentation of this content. We strive to ensure that we use only content providers who use the IP address of the respective user solely for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence over the possibility of the third party provider using the IP address for statistical purposes for example. Insofar as we are aware of this, we will inform the user.

The user can prevent the saving of the cookies by adjusting the requisite settings in their browser software. However, the website informs the user that this will prevent the user from being able to fully use all of the functions of this website. Furthermore, the user can prevent the acquisition of the data created by the cookie and related to their use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available through the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
