Description

 

FLOCERT is looking for a senior growth leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. In this role you will drive the development and commercialisation of new and existing services, strengthen client and stakeholder relations and build the organisation’s capability to design market-ready offerings beyond the Fairtrade core.


 
  • Job Share: Full-time (40 hours per week) 
  • Location: FLOCERT GmbH Headquarter Bonn, Germany
  • Salary: The salary and benefit package depend upon qualifications and experience
  • Start date: as soon as possible

Your responsibilities

  • Lead Business Development across global markets and segments
  • Develop and implement a market-driven growth strategy for certification-related and adjacent services
  • Lead end-to-end service development from opportunity framing to pricing and go-to-market
  • Actively contribute to early-stage product design and prototyping where necessary
  • Establish a clear prioritisation logic and ROI discipline for new opportunities
  • Build commercial and product literacy within BD teams through coaching and direction
  • Maintain and expand senior relationships with clients, Fairtrade stakeholders and partners
  • Represent FLOCERT externally in strategic negotiations and alliances
  • Ensure close alignment with Operations for successful market delivery

Your qualifications, experience and skills

  • Master’s degree in Business, International Business, Economics or similar
  • Several years of senior leadership experience in business development or commercial growth roles
    – ideally in certification, assurance, sustainability or adjacent industries
  • Recognised track record of taking services from concept to market, not only strategy or research
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder skills in complex, international environments
  • Ability to develop others and introduce product-building discipline into existing teams
  • Excellent communication; fluent in English (other languages an asset)
