Description of Position
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically strong Information Services Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of Fairtrade transaction reporting services, ensuring high data quality, providing expert-level customer support, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our reporting systems and processes.
You will work at the interface of data, customer support, and sustainability assurance, supporting both internal stakeholders and Fairtrade customers globally.
- Job Share: Full-time (38.5 hours per week)
- Duration of Contract: limited for 8 months with possible extension of 4 months
- Location: FLOCERT GmbH Headquarter Bonn, Germany
- Salary: Category V of the collective bargaining agreement
- Start date: 1 July 2026
Your responsibilities
- Provide second-level (expert) support to Fairtrade certification customers on transaction reporting and related systems
- Ensure the quality, completeness and consistency of Fairtrade transactional data
- Analyse, validate and clean data, including conducting regular data profiling and quality checks
- Handle and resolve internal and external data requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Support onboarding of new customers to reporting tools and processes
- Maintain and continuously improve reporting systems, tools, templates and documentation
- Deliver trainings (e.g. webinars) on transaction reporting and related tools
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Customer Service Desk, Assurance Scheme Management and Data Governance
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including Fairtrade International and National Fairtrade Organisations
- Contribute to projects as a subject matter expert in transaction reporting
Your qualifications, experience and skills
- Academic or vocational qualification (e.g. Business, Economics or a related field)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in customer support, data management or similar roles
- Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for working with data
- Excellent attention to detail and a structured, efficient working style
- Proficiency in Excel and confidence in working with IT tools and systems
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Good command of either Spanish, French or German
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international environment
- Proactive, reliable and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience with databases, CRM or ticketing systems is considered an advantage
- Knowledge of international trade or agricultural supply chains is considered an advantage
- Experience in customer training or user support is an asset
- Additional languages (e.g. Portuguese, Dutch, Italian) are an asset
- Interest in and motivation for Fairtrade
