Founded in 2003, FLOCERT is a leading certifier offering verification services to Fairtrade organisations globally. We’ve supported the phenomenal growth of Fairtrade, a movement that has positively impacted millions of people across the world for over a decade. We work with all organisations that are committed to operating sustainably, to increase fairness in global trade.
We were set up as a subsidiary of Fairtrade International to act independently of the standard-setting side of the organisation, ensuring the quality and credibility of the Fairtrade certification system. With broad expertise in analysing global supply chains built on a long history in Fairtrade, we've become a one-stop shop for assurance services.

We're also the first social certification body to be ISO 17065 accredited, reassuring our customers and partners of our independence and transparency in all our certification decisions.

ISEAL: We're an Associate member of ISEAL, the leading global membership organisation for sustainability standards. Being an ISEAL member gives us the opportunity to collaborate and innovate with our industry partners on critical issues within the sustainability standards movement.
Sedex: As a member of the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (Sedex), we're part of a global community which champions best practice in social, environmental and ethical supply chain auditing. We also provide audits against the SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) methodology.
SCAA: Our membership in the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) links us to the world's largest coffee trade association. By setting and maintaining quality standards for the industry, the association recognises, develops and promotes speciality coffee.
AFCA: We're part of the African Fine Coffees Association (AFCA). AFCA connects us to the regional association representing the coffee industry in eleven African countries.
